Alabama Football Players Earn Academic All-America Honors
TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama football players Bray Hubbard and Kadyn Proctor have been honored as part of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Team. This recognition adds to Alabama’s impressive total of 33 CSC Academic All-Americans since the award’s beginning and marks the 10th consecutive season with at least two honorees.
Bray Hubbard, a safety with a stellar 3.91 GPA, completed his bachelor’s degree in sport management in December. On the field, he started all 15 games, leading the secondary with 79 tackles (4.5 for loss), four interceptions, and numerous defensive accolades, including All-SEC First Team honors and second-team All-American recognition from both the American Football Coaches Association and the Associated Press.
Kadyn Proctor, an offensive lineman, achieved a perfect 4.00 GPA while also earning his bachelor’s degree in sport management. He started every game at left tackle, showcasing his skills as a key player on Alabama’s offensive line. Proctor was recognized with consensus All-American status, receiving accolades from multiple organizations, including the AFCA and the Football Writers Association of America. He was also co-recipient of the prestigious Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded to the SEC’s top offensive lineman. Pro Football Focus noted Proctor’s impressive performance, allowing just two sacks over 610 pass-blocking snaps while contributing to the offense with 16 rushing yards.
