Peachtree Group has officially opened the Tru by Hilton in Huntsville, Alabama, marking its sixth hotel launch of the year. This new 98-room property, located at 7206 Cabela Drive NW, is set within one of the Southeast’s most significant technology and defense hubs. Strategically positioned within a Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ), the hotel is less than a mile from prominent institutions such as Boeing, NASA, and the FBI’s Huntsville campus, as well as major contractors like Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
Designed to reflect the Tru by Hilton brand’s dedication to comfort and connectivity, the hotel features open social spaces, complimentary breakfast, a 24/7 market, a fitness center, and inviting lounge areas—all aimed at providing guests with a modern and efficient experience. The development aligns with the QOZ program established under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which facilitates economic growth in designated low-income areas.
As an active developer in this initiative, Peachtree has opened 12 hotels and has three more under construction within QOZs, underlining its commitment to revitalizing underserved communities. Peachtree’s hospitality management division oversees 113 hotels spanning 29 brands across the nation, emphasizing its expertise in operating premium, branded hotels in the upper midscale and upscale markets.
